If we ever go to war and all that's necessary is
nerf guns, I'm confident we'll be well defended. Colin now has two big plastic containers full of all types of
nerf weaponry and ammunition. All the neighborhood boys are apart of his
battalion and every night after a battle or two, the
cul-
de-sac is littered with little orange projectiles. I'm pretty sure the neighbors that don't have tween boys living with them think that we're involved with training the next terrorist cell. It's hard to convince them otherwise when some of the kids' guns have clips full of bullets that will fire numerous rounds at one time. Then there is the big nerf bullet rocket launcher for when you need a little more fire power!

This particular event is one where Colin and one of his mates are preparing for a nighttime attack. They have securely
fastened flashlights onto their guns in order to see the approaching enemy.

Once they are fully armed and ready, I give them my love, tell them God speed and hope that they come back to me in one piece. I expect to get letters from them while they are on the front lines.
