Cub Scout Bridging Ceremony

On Friday, June 12th we had our last pack meeting of the year, thus all the boys bridged to the next level. Colin's den is now top dog of the pack - 2nd year Webelos. All the remaining boys of the den also earned their Webelos badges.

We had a lot of work to do this year, and had a lot of catch-up since we missed a few meetings at the beginning of the year. Ultimately we got it done and Colin earned the following activity badges in addition to his Webelos badge: Craftsman, Fitness, Citizen, & Outdoorsman. We are very proud of him and what he accomplished.

Den 4 may not be the youngest anymore, but they sure are the most goofy! Luke, PJ, Torin, Nathan, Colin, Mason and Kyle did not hesitate for one minute to pose for a picture. Of course, by this time the meeting had been going for awhile, as they often do, and the troops were getting restless.

Colin was pretty stoked this year when Dens 3 & 4 joined. Now Nathan and Luke would be part of his den. I think for that reason, it kept Colin interested in scouts.

The boys have lots more work for the upcoming year. They can bridge to boy scouts next March after they earn their arrow of light badges. I'm not sure if Colin will move on or not. But for now, at least, cub scouts has been a good experience.
